Description
Weapons is a 2025 American supernatural mystery horror film written and directed by Zach Cregger, the filmmaker behind Barbarian. Its ensemble cast includes Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong and Amy Madigan. One night, at exactly the same time, seventeen children from the same classroom get out of bed, walk out of their homes into the dark and disappear. Only one child from the class is left behind. As the small town turns on the class teacher, a grieving father and others start chasing their own answers, and the story unfolds from several points of view. Released by Warner Bros. Pictures on 8 August 2025, Weapons was a critical and box office hit.
